⭐️Star Struck⭐️ House Rules: The following house rules allow us to keep Star Struck in pristine condition. We ask our guests to follow them and contact us if there are any questions. 1. Extra Guests / Visitors: This is a family environment and therefore we don't allow visitors or extra guests who are not previously authorized (in writing). If you want to receive a friend or family member please contact us first. Visitors, when authorized, are only allowed during the day. Visitors are not allowed at night. A fee of $50 will be charged per extra guest/unauthorized visitor per day. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation, with no refund if this rule is broken. 2. Guests must provide a government ID before arriving at the property. If this is not done, a copy of the ID can be requested at check-in (by photo or photocopy). 3. We do not accept bookings made by third parties, the guest who makes the reservation must be the one staying and correctly identify the number of guests including children. 4. Pets: No pets are permitted at the property. Additional fine of $100 per day if a pet is found at the home. 5. Check Out: Guests should follow the check-out list to ensure a smooth check out. Check out time is by 10am the cleaners will be at the home to prepare the home for the next guests. If guests delay their checkout by 2 hours, they may be fined $100. 6. Local law prohibits ANY grills on the decks. Charcoal BBQ to be used on the ground only, clear of the structure. Please just only grill utensils on the grill. 7. Smoking is not allowed inside the home or in any place where the smell can reach the home (windows/decks included). We charge a fine of $50 per day, in case this rule is broken. If any subsequent accommodation is affected due to the breach of this rule and we have to make refunds, it will also be charged. 8. Guests must immediately report any problems in the home. While we try to solve problems as quickly as possible, we ask our guests to be patient and understand that we depend on others for repairs and replacements. We are not responsible for interruptions in third party services (Internet, Water, Electricity, etc.), we do not make refunds for failures in these services. 9. Our cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (for example, someone who does the dishes and leaves the place as you found it etc.). This is not a hotel. If the cleaning staff discovers an unusual mess after check-out, we will charge an additional fee of $50. 10. Our cancellation policy is strict. We do not make reductions in stays, unused nights are not refundable. We do not make changes to dates, any exception depends exclusively on the decision of the owner. We advise our guests to buy travel insurance for out of control events, so they can get refunds from them. 11. Bait Fish may not be kept in our main refrigerator. If our cleaners detect bait fish residue or scent, we reserve the right to fine up to $250. 12. You agree that you are booking in good faith and that you will not attempt to destroy anything anywhere in the property. Even if you are dissatisfied with any decision made by the host regarding any type of dissatisfaction you may have with your stay. 13. We reserve the right to refuse to host or to refuse demands from rude, aggressive, disrespectful or impolite guests. We will not hesitate to end the stay at our discretion if there is verbal harassment / abuse to anyone including our staff and other guests. 14. Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or a "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. 15. All guests must obey local laws during their stay. Any evidence of violence, theft, invasion, stalking, drugs or damage regarding the host, other guests or property will be reported to local authorities. Stay off the dunes, these are the large sandy hills/vegetation between the beach access and beach, this will result in a $500 fine. By booking our accommodation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these house rules. Any violation of these rules may result in the end of the stay without the right to any refund.
